New to the Los Gigantes area is that the Los Gigantes Tennis Centre has its own Wi Fi connection through Canary Wireless.
So if you want to spend some time on your lap top whilst here on holiday, or as a resident, then connect at the club, log in to Canary Wireless and for a charge of @19 euros a week, experience great reception whilst at the tennis centre.
Easter Happenings At Tipsy’s

A whole load of fun is going down at Tipsy’s over the Easter period, what with tennis events,childrens’s fun events and an Easter Bunny Dance on the 11th April.
Firstly there is a ball machine competition for anyone – see how many points you can score against the machine – this is on Easter Friday 1.30 till 4pm.
Then on Sunday there is a Mens Doubles Event from 10am, and then games etc.
And then on Saturday evening is the Easter Bunny Dance.

Another win by the Los Gigantes Over 45 team away to La Florida, keeps the team top of the league.
This weekend sees the team play away in Las Americas against the Miraverde Tennis Club.
Our next home match is on the 25th October against Valle de Aridane.

A 5-2 win over last years champions Puerto de la Cruz was the best possible start to the 2008 leage programme.
Wins from Salvador, Jesus, Lynda and myself gave us the 4 points needed to win.
Both Agustin and Cuki lost in closely fought matches.
Next week the team play away against CT Hibiscos.
